The Exchange opened in 2009 with the vision of creating affordable workspace for a diverse group of local social enterprises, charities, freelancers and other independent professionals.
We are located in central Stroud so are perfectly located for popping into town for lunch and are close to transport links and car parks.
The Shared Office has seen a huge variety of different organisations over the years, some have been here since the beginning whilst others have grown and moved on. Hot Desk corner is somewhere you can come and work a day a week or every day with no commitment or membership fee, easy in easy out is our ethos.
We have two lovely meeting rooms used by community groups, meditation circles, Quakers, drop-in clinics, counsellors, local businesses, trainers and even a lovely bunch of lads who come on Sundays to play Dungeons & Dragons.
Our Octavia Hill conference room can take up to 20 people for a meeting or 30 sitting in rows and has a ceiling mounted projector and screen.
The Robert Owen room is smaller but beautiful and looks over the garden space which is there for all to chat over lunch or just sit and breathe away from your screen.
A dedicated desk space is available in our Shared Office for £262.50 pcm and Hot Desks are £20 per day.

The Exchange plays host to a community of hard-working professionals who share ideas and support each other while working in a way that suits them.
A variety of community groups and charities also use The Exchange’s facilities, including a bright and airy meeting room, a purpose-built outdoor shelter, and a garden for chats, lunch breaks, or just a few moments of creative reflection.
The Exchange offers flexible arrangements that enable you to spend a couple of days or a day a month in a different space.
For meetings in person our meeting room is available hourly or daily at affordable rates.
